It was originally reported that he did not live at the property but it appears that he does. After meeting him in person the reports about him make sense. Seems to not care about the property and would prefer to sit in his office with the door shut and not be disturbed. Only one temp was in the office. Mind boggling how a property this large can function with next to no staff.
Oscar chose to come for this site. So here is the truth. Legacy is in a contract with LPF Triana, Inc., who does not exist anymore - so they have no legal right to be here. He had all the recent tenant flyers from June 1st placed on some nutty board in the locked mailroom and is going to be sued. We will make sure that residents get all the information needed. If you want notices on your doors let us know....we are also likely going to be doing a mailer and will continue to post in common areas where all prior signage is. But nice try, Jade.
We are being run by a company (Legacy) who is not contracted to work here and REFUSES to post the Business Tax Certificate on the front door lobby [feel free to download it] and thinks he is going to force us to place MUCH NEEDED information in a locked room where most don't even go every day in front of a camera. I guess he does not understand the word "conspicuous." And who is surprised? Considering how many tenants complained about lack of LEGAL and proper notice on our doors. And how many have complained about getting HIS notices to enter and then NO entry?
Let's talk about REAL SAFETY issues: FAILING to fix the Daisy alarm system and allowing false alarms to go off knowing no one is going to leave the property during a real fire. Apparently there was a fire in the building around a month ago. Did anyone leave? Did Oscar write us? Random couples stealing packages with Legacy never turning over property videos. Illegally taking people's homes from them. I think that is a "safety" concern...risking people ending up on the street. How about our brilliant porters throwing dirty water down the stairs? And porters sleeping with staff? [seen together over the last week]. And when it was discovered, the porter simply had to leave the property but he was allowed to stay here and PROMOTED [an employee violation as is his smoking cigarettes and marijuana usage he does not even hide and he plays the guitar on his balcony, which is also a nuisance to the neighbors].
Look at this property and convince yourselves it is run by a competent group. Despite knowing he cannot handle this property, they refuse to fire him because he will gladly harass anyone they don't like. He learned quick: If you want to get ahead make tenants that Deanna O'Brien does not like, life hell. Porters walk around in twos [thank you for the photos] at a building this size instead of splitting up and ACTUALLY WORKING. Why are there not 4 porters per floor? How about male temps talking about "vibrators" with single women and their desire to have sex with us and then when you REJECT their perversions malign you and then get promoted? This employee has mentioned at least 2 women's feet and suggested an OnlyFans page to one. LEGACY IS NUTS and has NO business calling themselves the "best" property management company. And who doesn't want to hear about their associations with gangs and be shown wounds from prior gun shots? I mean who doesn't boast about doing time and texts , "I don't talk to cops because I will be killed by gang members in jail." That's normal. Who doesn't want ex-cons in their home alone with them? How did THEY pass a background check? How can Legacy let anyone in our homes without doing a proper background check? Why aren't they doing random drug tests? How many tenants have to reference smelling marijuana before the residents are protected?
How about FAILING to keep all emergency doors open after EVERY false alarm [an ADA violation] or currently leaving handles off exit doors FOR MONTHS so ANYONE can walk in to our property and steal packages yet again, and break in to units. There is NO sense of urgency or pride in ownership.
So...Oscar...I think if we ask the tenants who feels safer reading updates in common areas, as this is OUR property, or go through the hell you all take us through... I bet the tenants would take notices in common areas.

PLEASE GET THE HELL OUT OF OUR PROPERTY but before you go, GIVE US BACK OUR SCEP FEES STOLEN from us between July 2018 and September 2023. AND STOP BILLING RESIDENTS for insurance when YOU KNOW they have insurance already. You will answer for it all, Oscar.
